The World Gold Council and its member companies support the responsible mining and trading of gold from all legitimate sources, including artisanal and small-scale mining (ASM). The responsible development of gold resources both through large-scale mining (LSM) and ASM, especially when coupled with sound governance, has the potential to deliver broad social and economic benefits to individuals, communities and countries. There has been a significant growth in artisanal and small-scale mining in many developing countries over the last twenty years. ASM issues have become more salient in public policy debates as a result of the adoption of instruments designed to prevent the funding of illegal armed groups and from the implementation on reducing mercury in the environment. Favorable geological and structural conditions for the localization of gold mineralization in the Karakchatau mountains are associated with areas of manifestation of long-term tectonic-magmatic activation in metalliferous sediments of contrasting lithological composition. The confinement of the occurrences of gold mineralization to the blocks formed by transverse faults in the areas of their intersection with the Karakchatau shear zone was noted. The ore-localizing ones are mainly intrablock and non-extended interblock tectonic structures.

Also, the indicated mineralized zones, the conditions of occurrence of the mineralization, the geological-structural position and the peculiarities of the host complexes. Descriptions of promising tungsten, tin ore, polymetallic, mercury and other ore zones, which serve as a reserve in expanding the resource base in the Republic, are given. Tungsten, tin ore, and mercury mineralizations are characterized in somewhat more detail, since the latter in the region under study is often spatially associated with gold and forms mercury-antimony-polymetallic mineralization.

This article provides data on the main fungal diseases of dog rose in the conditions of the Tashkent Botanical Garden. The main diseases and their causative agents and signs of such diseases as rust, powdery mildew, gray rot and various spots have been studied.
The results of the study were used to develop measures to combat rosehip fungal diseases. To suppress the spread of rosehip spots, Previkur SL 722 c.c. preparations were used. at two consumption rates and Falcon 46% e. The biological effectiveness of the drugs used was studied. Thus, the maximum value was noted in the variant with Previkur SL 722 v.r.k. at a consumption rate of 1.5 kg / ha, which was 90.9% on day 15, and by 30 - 86.5%. For the fungicide Falcon 46% ae. (0.5 l / ha), biological efficiency was 78.2% on day 15 and 66.8% on day 30.
