Abstract

This article examines the role of the Constitution in guaranteeing citizens' rights and freedoms, maintaining legal order, and strengthening democratic governance. It also discusses the history of constitutionalism, the world’s first constitutions, and the importance of the Constitution of Uzbekistan in current democratic reforms.
