Abstract

This article discusses the importance of foreign language proficiency among young people. It emphasizes that in the era of globalization, learning foreign languages is a crucial factor for competitiveness, international communication, and access to modern knowledge. The article explains the role of foreign languages in education, science, professional growth, and intercultural relations, and includes supporting quotations. It also highlights the attention given by the state to improving language education in Uzbekistan. The conclusion states that knowing a foreign language is a key to broadening one’s worldview and fostering personal development in youth.
