The work is devoted to the classification of borrowed scientific terms identified in the speech of Uzbek-speaking representatives of the older generation into lexico-thematic groups. It is noted that the borrowed units, which represent the term of the sphere of science, are among the most frequent in terms of use in everyday speech communication.

Proceeding from the task set in the work methods of regeneration of composite sorption materials (CSM) after use in wastewater treatment, synthesized based on rotor slag of Djizakh battery plant are investigated. The recovery of CWM by thermal regeneration, which is the treatment of the sorbent by steam or gas at 110°-400℃, is shown. High temperature thermal regeneration is considered to be the most intensive method of sorbate desorption.
