In the field of foreign language teaching in higher education, the scope goes beyond mere language acquisition to include the cultivation of intercultural competence in both teachers and learners. The importance of intercultural competence in foreign language teaching lies in its ability to equip learners with the necessary skills to navigate successfully in diverse cultural environments, especially for students who intend to study abroad orin a multicultural context. The development of such a competence therefore enables them not only to interact effectively with people from different cultural backgrounds, but also to gain a deeper understanding of their own culture and of the cultural nuances embedded in the target language. However, developing this competence is by no means a simple matter; it requires specialised training and continuous professional development for teachers. Teachers are expected to have extensive experience, sensitivity and some knowledge of the cultural implications associated with the language being taught, which presents its own set of challenges.
This scientific article is devoted to the study of simultaneous translation as an extreme type of cognitive process. Simultaneous interpreting is a special type of professional activity that requires a high level of cognitive abilities, including attention, memory, concentration, logical thinking and language skills. The paper examines the characteristics of the cognitive load during simultaneous interpreting, the use of various information processing strategies, as well as the influence of stress factors on the quality of the interpreter’s cognitive work.
A teacher at a modern university must be methodically prepared in order to successfully implement the central type of his professional activity, provided for by the state educational standards of the new generation - teaching.

Mazkur yo‘nalishda Psixolog V.V.Boykoning amalga oshirilgan ilmiy-tadqiqot ishlari tahlil qilinadi. “Psixologik yonish” rivojlanishining sabablari, “Psixologik bilimlar” shaxsiy xususiyatlarning shakllanishiga o‘z ta’sirini ko‘rsatib, muhim ahamiyatga ega ekanligini ta’kidlaydi.
The article presents the features of the methodology of teaching biomedical disciplines in the higher education system on the example of pathological anatomy. The approaches necessary for the training of future specialists in the organization of the educational process aimed at acquiring general professional competencies are shown. Integration of modern multimedia capabilities into the educational process, along with traditional forms of teaching, contributes to the synergetic effect of using a complex of various forms of teaching the discipline at the Department of Physiology and Pathology of the Tashkent State Dental Institute, Republic of Uzbekistan, Tashkent.

Language teaching approaches and methods have cast light on the language teaching theory and practice.
There are still many controversies about their usefulness and appropriateness. This article tries to analyze the
effectiveness of one of the most influential teaching methods: Grammar-translation Method, in order to have
a better understanding and application in the future teaching practice. Using theoretical materials made in
this sphere, it is obvious that, there is no inherent contradiction between grammar instruction and
communicative approach, and a sort of explicit grammar instruction can complement communicative
language teaching to raise learners’ conscious awareness of the form and structure of the target language

Here, it is important to correctly assess their qualification indicators of English language skills, as well as understanding of the basic principles of achieving high results.
