Torsion and necrosis of the omentum strand is a casuistic disease and occurs in 0.06% – 0.14% of all urgent surgical pathologies in the abdominal organs. Taking into account the rare occurrence and the absence of a characteristic symptoms complex in the torsion of the omentum strand the preoperative diagnosis is correctly established in single cases. The etiology of the development of this pathology remains amystery in modern medicine and attracts more interest in itself due to the difficulty in diagnosis namely in the preoperative period. There are predisposing factors (adhesions in the abdominal cavity, ventral hernia, obesity, chronic inflammation of the abdominal organs) and producing factors (physical activity, eating a large amount of food, a sharp increase in intra-abdominal pressure or sudden contraction of the muscles of the anterior abdominal wall). Most often, the clinic of torsion of the omentum strand simulates such abdominal pathologies as acute appendicitis, acute intestinal obstruction of adhesive etiology, acute cholecystitis. Over the past decade, minimally
invasive surgery has become widespread, in particular laparoscopic surgery, as a
multi-port and single-port. The article highlights the difficulties of preoperative
diagnostics, the role of laparoscopy in differential diagnostics and the features of the
clinical course of torsion and necrosis of the fatty structures of the abdominal cavity
This study is based on the comparison between management versus PCI in patients with CAD. The prevalence of the major forms of cardiovascular disease (CVDs), mostly coronary artery disease (CAD), has changed dramatically in recent years. Cardiovascular disorders are now the one of the major cause of death and disability in the world.1 In 2015, 17.7 million individuals died from cardiovascular disease (CVD), which is around 31% of all deaths worldwide; 7.4 million pass away from coronary artery disease (CAD), and 6.7 million expired from stroke. 2 CAD is also the major cause of death, count for 13.2% of all deaths globally.3 It is responsible for one-quarter of all deaths in the United States of America (USA). About 75 percent of people with CAD in European countries are between the ages of 27 and 34.4 CAD was accountable for 16% of all man deaths and 10% of all female deaths in the England.5 Sudden death and CAD have a close connection. According to post-mortem reports and death certificates, 62-85 percent of patients who expired outside of the clinic have a past of CAD.6 As per informations from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) from 2011 to 2014, myocardial infraction affects 3.0% of the mature people in the USA (3.3 percent of males and 2.3 percent of females). An MI occurs every 40 seconds or so in the USA. In the USA, the mean age at 1st MI is 65.6 years for guys and 72.0 years for ladies.7 In this study the management and PCI are compared in patients with CVD.
One of the main components in the production of building materials is silicon, and an increase in the production of building materials means an increase in the number of workers engaged in their processing. Silicon is a brown powder or gray crystals. It is a part of sandstone, graphite, sand, coal mine waste rock, molded earth and porcelain pieces. Silicon is also one of the main components of dust in many industries, especially porcelain and abrasive. Silicon dioxide is a component of quartz, quartz and other materials. Human inhalation of silicon-containing dust leads to the development of silicosis, which manifests itself in the form of pulmonary fibrosis and increasingly impairs their function.
The article provides an analysis of patients in terms of frequency, causes and epidemiological features of non penetrating valved injuries of the cornea according to the data of the clinic of the Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute. Comparative analysis of the treatment of non-penetrating valved injuries of the cornea in 24% of children who did not undergo surgical treatment, give good functional results and contribute to a more rapid restoration of visual functions.
Biological phenomenon. As a result of the advances made in medicine and public health measures in
the last half of the 20th century, there is a substantial increase in the life span of man. Elders above
65 years (old age) have health problems as a result of aging process, which calls for special
consideration.
To study the characteristic features of the cellular composition of blood in patients with acute purulent odontogenic ostitis of the jaw. Material and methods: The data obtained during the examination and treatment of 42 patients with acute purulent odontogenic ostitis at the age of 7 to 9 years, who applied to the TGSI clinic, were studied. Results: In the patients, the indices of the red part of the blood were significantly lower than in the comparison group. A low level of hemoglobin can cause hemic tissue hypoxia and affect the state of the acid-base state of the blood, expressed in the form of acidosis, which activates anaerobic glycolysis. An increase in the level of lactic acid in cells can be one of the reasons for the disruption of local microcirculationand the accumulation of endogenous toxins. Conclusions: This pathology is accompanied by a shift in the indicators of the white part of the blood, the observed hemic hypoxia leads to an increase in the level of lactic acid in the cells, which may be one of the reasons for the disruption of local microcirculation and the accumulation of endogenous toxins.
To determine the hydrodynamic parameters of the uninjured fellow eye of children with combined injuries of the organ of vision. A prospective analysis of the hydrodynamic parameters of the fellow eye according to Friedenwald was carried out in 18 patients (18 eyes) aged 3 to 10 years 2–3 and 45–50 days after primary surgical treatment (PSD) of a penetrating wound of the cornea, who were hospitalized in the ophthalmological department of the clinic Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute. Group I included 8 (44%) children with the following diagnosis: “Combined injury of the organ
of vision. Contusion of the eyeball severe. Complex penetrating wound of the cornea. Group II included 10 (56%) patients with complex penetrating wounds of the cornea. 2–3 days after PST of the wound, group I showed a statistically significant increase in Pt by 2.04±0.03 mm Hg. compared with the control group, while 1–2 days after the first measurement and 45–50 days after PST, the indicators decreased, on average, by 4.4±0.02 mm Hg. without the use of antihypertensive drugs. Changes in the hydrodynamics of the eye in children of group II were not statistically significant. The results of the examination of children revealed a transient increase in tonometric intraocular pressure in the paired uninjured eye 2–3 days after PST of a penetrating wound of the cornea with combined injuries of the organ of vision.
Early detection of purulent inflammatory diseases in young children and proper performance of qualified surgical care and prevention of complications is one of the medical requirements. There are relative guidelines for the treatment of acute surgical infection in an outpatient setting. The aim of the study is to identify the indications for early diagnosis and treatment of acute purulent inflammation that occurs in children of this age. In 2015 - 2020, we treated patients treated in the surgical infection department of the clinic of the Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute. The anamnesis of 474 patients with purulent inflammatory diseases in young children was studied.
No one can say with certainty exactly when tuberculosis appeared on our planet. It is only known that it has become one of the most ancient scourges of mankind. For hundreds of years, tuberculosis remained incurable, and even today it often keeps patients in a state of fear and tension. Today tuberculosis is a global problem all over the world. Millions of people die every year from tuberculosis. If at present literary heroes often die of myocardial infarction, then the characters of F. M. Dostoevsky, I. S. Turgenev, N. A. Nekrasov, V. G. Korolenko, C. Dickens, A. Dumas-son, D. Cusack died of tuberculosis. For a long time it was believed that tuberculosis develops in people saddened by personal adversity. This is reflected in the operas. The heroines of "La Traviata" by D. Verdi and "La Boheme" by D. Puccini - Violetta and Mimi suffer from unrequited love and fall ill with tuberculosis. At the present stage, tuberculosis remains a serious medical and social problem in the world. In the Republic of Uzbekistan, despite the complex of large-scale anti-tuberculosis- measures, the epidemiological situation of tuberculosis remains tense.
Cerebral injuries, complicated by subdural and intracerebral hematomas play the leading role in the structure of childhood injuries, they are the most frequently encountered injuries. The work presents a retrospective assessment of medical records of children aged 5 to 7 years who were admitted on an emergency basis with a clinic of
traumatic brain injury. The paper presents the indicators of the main patterns of respiration and hemodynamics, the minimum alveolar concentration, which reflect the effectiveness of inhaled anesthesia during the operation.
