Decreased functional activity of the salivary glands may be a potential biomarker of hypertension. To assess their diagnostic value, the physicochemical parameters of oral fluid in the diagnosis of arterial hypertension require further research.

Abstract: In this research, the results of the effects of vincamine hydrochloride and pyrozalin iodide alkaloids on the relaxation of aortic smooth muscle cells in the presence of Ca2+ L-channels have been reported. The isometric contraction activity of the aortic blood vessel smooth muscle derived from rabbits was studied using mechanography. The results, under in vitro conditions, demonstrated that the contraction activity of the rabbit aortic blood vessel smooth muscle preparation induced by 50 mM KCl was dependent on the potential of the plasma membrane, associated with the activity of the Ca2*L-channels. It was found that vincamine and pyrozalin iodide alkaloids affected the blockage of the Ca2+i-channels and a reduction in [Ca2*] concentration. The obtained results suggest that the relaxing effect of vincamine hydrochloride and pyrozalin iodide alkaloids is based on the blockage of the L-type Ca2+ channels, and they also affect the receptor-operated Ca2+ channels. In conclusion, the results indicate that in providing the relaxing effect of vincamine and pyrozalin iodide alkaloids, the blockage of potential-dependent L-type Ca2t channels, along with the blockage of receptor-operated Ca2+ channels plays an important role.

The aim of the study was to study the clinical and diagnostic significance of natriuretic peptide
(BNP) in heart failure (HF) in children with congenital heart defects.
Methods. The study included 24 children under 3 years of age with HF. All patients had HF
secondary to congenital heart disease and clinical data, echocardiographic parameters were collected. A comparative analysis of the data indicating significant changes in BNP with characteristic changes on the echocardiogram characterizing the signs of heart failure in children was carried out. Study results: analysis of NT-proBNP values and type of heart disease associated with HF. In our
cohort, median NT-proBNP was highest in patients with cyanotic heart disease (248.0 fmol/ml), followed by patients with dilated cardiomyopathy (193.3 fmol/ml). The lowest median value of NT-proBNP was recorded in patients with acyano- tic heart disease.
Conclusion. In patients with HF, BNP and echocardiography can provide diagnostic and
prognostic information. The highest BNP values were reported in patients with lower LVEF, but were not statistically significant. The combination of all these data may offer the best tools for optimizing the treatment of heart failure in children.
Congenital heart defects (CHD) account for about 30% of all congenital malformations in children. So, high pulmonary hypertension (PH) on the one hand, reducing the quality of life of operated patients leads to early disability and premature death [1]. Still small and remains poorly studied dynamics of the regression of PH and medication reduction in the period of pre-operative preparation of patients to one or another correction of heart defects depending on weight and age. Therefore, revealing of laws of development of high PH in different types of CHD in children, development of rational tactics of medicament therapy, enhancing the quality of life and preparation for operational intervention when CHD are relevant in the modern pediatric service.
