Currently, one of the most frequent diseases in children is a herpetic infection, which is explained not only by the prevalence of herpes simplex virus (HSV), but also by the peculiarities of the development of the immune system in a developing child's body. Questions of the general status of herpetic stomatitis in children is important. The purpose of the study was to study the immunological parameters of the oral cavity in children with acute herpetic stomatitis in the dynamics before and after treatment with Kyzyl May. In 62 children with acute herpetic stomatitis who applied to the department of pediatric therapeutic dentistry at TSDI, clinical and immunological studies were conducted. Based on the obtained clinical and immunological data, the high efficacy of Kyzyl May is effective in the treatment of acute herpetic stomatitis.
Chronic recurrent aphthous stomatitis (stomatitis chronica aphtosa recidiva) is a chronic inflammatory disease of the oral mucosa of an infectious-allergic nature, characterized by periodic remissions and frequent exacerbations. Morphological elements on the oral mucosa are the so-called "ulcerative formations", that is, apht characterized by periodic remissions and partial exacerbations with a rash of aphtha. According to the latest publications of domestic and foreign authors, HRAS is usually considered as a polyetiological disease that plays a role in the formation and the nature of the course of the pathological process. The factor causing chronic aphthous stomatitis is staphylococcal infection, adenovirus, allergies, immune disorders, as well as diseases of organs and systems. First of all, it is a local effect aimed at reducing pain that makes it difficult to eat up to forced starvation, as well as at the speedy regeneration of the defect. Secondly, it is the regulation of the body's immunocompetent systems and a decrease in the level of bacterial allergies. In addition, the identification and treatment of background diseases with the involvement of specialists of different profiles (Lukinykh L.M., 2004; Savkina G.D., 2005; Drobotko JI.H., 2008).
Introduction. A correct diagnostic of recurrent aphthous stomatitis (RAS, sometimes also called recurrent oral ulcers or ulcers) is a central element of dentistry issues. Aphthous ulcers have been carefully defined so that they can be differentiated from many other types of recurrent oral ulcers that are not associated with systemic abnormalities (M.Kh. Ibragimova, 2019). Objectively, the prevalence rate is incredibly high, but if RAS is defined as more than two spontaneously occurring episodes per year, then the average prevalence in the population is about 10%, which seems reasonable. Many studies struggle with definitions and ask if subjects ever had mouth ulcers. Reported estimates range from 1.5 to 28% in different parts of the world according to the WHO, suggesting that there may be genetic differences that account for these geographic differences. Current evidence suggests that RAS may be the result of an abnormal cascade of cytokines in the oral mucosa, which leads to a cell-mediated immune response directed to the focal area of the oral mucosa (Alimova D.M., 2021).
Herpes viral infection (HVI) occupies one of the leading places among viral diseases in humans due to the wide spread prevalence of the virus and the ability to be persis tent perpetually in humans after a primary infection. According to the WHO, from 90 to 100% of the world's popu-lation are infected with herpes simplex viruses (HSV) of the 1st and 2nd types. Based on the results of the analysis of scientific research and scientific literature data, one can come to the conclusion that there is a need for large-scale research on this problem in Uzbekistan. The aim of research was to study of the effectiency of applying biological active additive Reptin-plant within the complex treatment of her-petic stomatitis patients and therapeutic effect of photody-namic therapy with the PDU device in patients with HSV. Under our supervision, there were 75 children diagnosed with HSV at the age of 18 to 40 years, divided into three groups, depending on the therapy. All patients were mainly treated on an outpatient basis. Analysis of the data obtained from the treatment results showed that the group of patients with HSV received complex treatment (traditional treatment + Reptin-plant + PDU) was more effective than traditional therapy alone.
