The effect of a decoction of liquorice root and an infusion of Helichrysum flowers on the processes of lipid peroxidation in chronic toxic hepatitis was studied. It has been established that a decoction of liquorice root and an infusion of Sandy immortelle flower in chronic poisoning with heliotrin has an antioxidant effect. In terms of hepatoprotective action, herbal preparations are not inferior to the well-known hepatoprotector silibor.

The study aimed to investigate the protective mechanisms of substance Darmonal and phytin compounds in the experimental model of acute toxic drug-induced hepatitis caused by paracetamol in rats.
The material and methods The research was carried out on white outbred rats of both sexes weighing 140-200 g. Drug-in¬duced liver damage was reproduced by introduction of paracetamol into the stomach in dose 500 mg/kg for 2 days. The test compounds Darmonal, Fitin-C and reference drug Liv.52 were administered for 7 days after hepatitis reproduction in doses 100 mg/kg. The effectiveness and mechanism of action for selected supramolecular complexes in the model of toxic drug-induced hepatitis was made by paracetamol. It was researched that liver protein-synthesizing function was due to the content of total protein and albumin in the blood serum, the excretory and toxic function of the liver by the content of total and direct bilirubin as well as the endogenous intoxication were according to the content of urea in the blood serum, but cytolytic syndrome occurred because of the activity of indicator enzymes (alanine aminotransferase (ALT) and aspartate aminotransferase (AST) in blood serum).
Research results. The study of specific activity of Darmonal in combination with Fitin-C and the reference drug Liv.52 on the model of paracetamol and carbon tetrachloride hepatitis showed that the drugs, being administered in dose 100 mg/kg, had a pronounced hepatoprotective effect.
Trinatrium salt of glycyrrhizic acid (Glycytrinate) with strong anti-ulcerous activity combined with anti-inflammatory effect was synthesized on the basis of glycyrrhizic acid. According to the parameters of acute toxicity in experiments on white mice and rats with per oral administration Glycytrinate was included to the group of little toxic substances. And according to the assessment of anti-ulcerous activity on the models of rats’ gastric mucous membrane destruction caused by indo metasin, ortophen, and reserpin glycytrinate has an expressed antiulcer effect. The mechanism of glycytrinate’s antiulcer effect is linked with its antioxidant property and suppression of the secretory function of gastric glands.

Study of the effect of darmonal and phytin compounds on the exocrine function of the liver in acute experimental hepatitis. The influence of dannonal on the functional condition of liver has been studied in toxic hepatitis. It was determined that dannonal improved detoxicational function of liver by decreasing activity of cytolitic enzymes ALT and AST, decreasing cholestatic markers - APh and GGT. Dannonal showing hepatoprotective action improves function of liver and do not resign to other hepatoprotector - LIV-52.

It has been established that the causative agent of a new coronavirus infection can lead to the development of virus-mediated hepatopathy [2, 5]. The pathogenesis of this liver lesion remains a subject of debate, but scientists consider the “cytokine storm” that develops during severe and very severe infectious process as a leading factor in this process [2].

The aim of study was to research the effect of darmonal and phytin compounds on the amount of glycogen and lactic acid in the liver tissues.
Materials and methods. The new compounds of phytin-C were studied: phytin-C, cobalt phytate and patent substance of darmonal obtained from wheat grain cells grown under special conditions. For comparison, the bioflavonoid of plant origin Liv-52, being used in treatment of liver diseases, was also studied. The study was carried out on 60 white rats weighing 120-150 g. The toxic hepatitis was caused by subcutaneous administration of 50% carbon tetrachlormetan oil solution in dose 0.8 ml/100 g for 4 days.
Results. The results showed that the combined introduction of extract significantly enlarged the outcome at joint use drug Liv-52 in animals, and, especially such effect was noticeable with addition phytin-C. The use bioactive substance in combination with complex phytin compound was more effective for accumulation of glycogen in the liver than using the drugs separately, hepatotoxin - carbon tetrachlormetan reduced carbohydrate metabolism and led to increase glycogen in liver tissues as well as the decreased lactic acid. It was determined that the combined treatment was more effective at toxic hepatitis induced by carbon tetrachlormetan, it had the hepatoprotective effect and improved liver function.
The influence of stimusol (extract radix Glycyrrhiza+mumie) on lipid peroxidation processes and synthesis of gall in the liver at chronic toxic hepatitiswere researched. It was determined that stimusol during chronic poisoning with heliotrine made antioxidant and choleretic action. Normalize of gall contains. It didn’t give up to famous, silibor by hepatoprotector action.
