Whether teaching English as a second language or as a foreign language, teaching English for Specific Purposes (ESP) classes can be difficult. The teaching and learning of medical language present one of the biggest challenges for medical educators and students. For students, medical terminology can be complex and challenging to understand because it is sometimes drawn from other languages, such as Greek and Latin. Due to their length and complexity, which make them challenging to say, spell, and understand, these terms present a challenge to teachers in terms of communicating their meaning to students.
В статье анализируются возможности проектной технологии на уроках русского языка в школе. Приводится примерная тематика проектов, описываются этапы деятельности. Автор делает вывод о том, что проектная деятельность развивает исследовательские возможности учащихся, позволяет им занять активную позицию на уроке, глубже изучить предмет, а также повышает их мотивацию к учебе.

The aim of this study was to examine the effects of using inquiry-based learning in teaching language in English language learning classroom. Inquiry-based learning is the act of gaining knowledge and skills through asking for information. It is a discovery method of learning that involves language learners in making observations; posing questions; examining sources; gathering, analyzing, interpreting, and synthesizing data; proposing answers, explanations and predictions; communicating findings through discussion and reflection; applying findings to the real situation, and following up new questions that may arise in the process.

With the increasing prevalence of digital devices and online content, it is crucial to explore how these technologies impact students’ reading abilities, comprehension, and critical thinking. The study utilizes a mixed-methods approach, incorporating surveys, classroom observations, and interviews with students and educators. The findings shed light on the benefits and challenges associated with digital reading, highlighting the potential of digital technologies to enhance reading skills while also addressing potential concerns in the context of Karakalpakstan’s high school education system.
