This article studies the analysis of the similar versions of the idioms expressed by human body parts in the English language, which are actively used in conversation today, and the considerations aimed at their classification, and their replacement with the Uzbek alternative. In the article, the idioms given in both languages are used in sentences and their meaning is analyzed.
Данная статья рассматривается адъективные соматические фразеологические единицы в английском и каракалпакском языках. Это относится к фразеологии, которая изучает устойчивые выражения и идиомы, содержащие слова, связанные с человеческим телом. В статье будут рассмотрены примеры таких фразеологических единиц и их значения в контексте языка.
Данная статья актуальна на сегодняшний день, так как является первой попыткой сопоставительного изучения истории и культуры английских и узбекских параллелей фразеологизмов с компонентом «хлеб». В данной статье осуществляется распределение фразеологизмов по этимологическим разрядам, это дает возможность выявить специфику фразеологизмов с компонентом «хлеб».
В данной статье рассматривается сравнение английских и каракалпакских соматических фразеологических единиц, которые описывают состояния или действия через части тела. Авторы отмечают, что хотя оба языка имеют подобные выражения, их значения и употребление могут существенно отличаться из-за культурных и лингвистических особенностей каждого языка. В статье приводятся примеры таких фраз и объясняются их значения в контексте соответствующих языков.
The article entitled “Colour symbolism in idioms and methods of their teaching to B1 level learners” considers color idioms as an important object for study in science and raises the problem of teaching idioms for students at school. As a result of the analysis and all the literature, that has been studied on such a topic as color symbolism, methods for solving this problem have been identified. Moreover, the article is based on the works and assumptions of several linguists, polyglots, as well as my life experience. This article is suitable for teachers and all students of any level who are learning a foreign language.

This article aims at investigating the significance of idioms in linguistic research. The paper tries to shed light on the definition and importance of idioms by a number of scholars, their relations to the issue, its characteristics, functions and comprehension. Analyzed idioms reflect life style of the Karakalpak and the English nation, the investigated expressions either coincide in some basic categories or express polar points of view and attitudes.
