The purpose of this study was, based on the study of the characteristics of hormonal and lipid metabolism in newborns and obese women, to determine the diagnostic criterion for disorders in the process of teething in children of the first year of life. The object of the study was 78 practically healthy lactating women aged 20-27 years, as well as their newborns. Statistically significant differences were found in the mean leptin concentrations, increasing in proportion to the baseline BMI, while the adiponectin level, on the contrary, was significantly low.
Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is the leading cause of death worldwide: no other cause causes as many deaths each year as CVD.
An estimated 17,9 million people died from CVD in 2016, accounting for 31% of all deaths worldwide. 85% of these deaths were due to heart attack and stroke. Most cardiovascular diseases can be prevented by addressing risk factors such as tobacco use, unhealthy diet and obesity, physical inactivity and harmful use of alcohol through population-wide strategies [1].
In Uzbekistan, the risk of premature death (among the population aged 30-69 years) from the four major NCD groups is approximately 31%; CVD is the leading cause of death. A quarter of adults aged 18-64 and almost a third of adults aged 40-64 are at high risk of having a heart attack or stroke within the next 10 years. Men are particularly at risk for cardiovascular risk given their tobacco use and the harmful use of alcohol. In general, men tend to underuse health services; blood pressure in this population is also under-controlled [2].
Objective: to study the role of the rs1799883 polymorphism of the FABP2 gene in the pathogenesis of gallstone disease in combination with MS. Material and methods. Molecular genetic studies were carried out in the Department of Molecular Medicine and Cell Technologies of the RSNPMC Hematology.
The analysis of the associations of the rs1799883 polymorphisms of the FABP2 gene was carried out using a case-control model.
The main group consisted of 118 patients with cholelithiasis in combination with MS living in the Khorezm region.
Results: As a result of our research, we identified a significant association of the homozygous genotype for the Thr allele with the development of gallstone disease in combination with MS. The indicator of the ratio of the chances of developing gallstone disease in combination with MS in carriers of this genotype was OR = 2.9 at 95% CI: 1.122- 7.424. The relative risk of disease was RR = 2.5 with 95% CI: 1.11-5.76.
Conclusion: Our results allow us to conclude that the homozygous Thr/Thr genotype plays an important role in the formation of gallstone disease and obesity in people of Uzbek nationality.
At the beginning of the third millennium, for mankind, which overcame the epidemic of life-threatening infections during its centuries-old history, the problem of cardiovascular diseases (CVD) came to the fore in relevance among all causes of morbidity and mortality. A significant role in this was played by lifestyle modification associated with limiting physical activity, increasing the calorie content of food, and a steady increase in emotional stress. All of this potentiates the main risk factors for CVD, which are a “negative asset of progress,” namely increased blood pressure (BP), dyslipidemia, diabetes mellitus (DM) and obesity. Since 1988, after G. Reaven's Banting lecture, it is customary to designate the interconnected combination of these pathologies by the single term "metabolic syndrome X".
Purpose of the study. Determination of the clinical and pathogenetic characteristics of COVID-19 in the early rehabilitation period according to retrospective analysis
Material and research methods. A retrospective analysis of the case histories of 128 patients who underwent COVID-19 and persistent symptoms of the disease was carried out. The number and frequency of underlying diseases and clinical manifestations of various pathological syndromes were determined.
The results of the analysis of case histories of patients showed that 44 patients suffered moderate severity of COVID 19, 45 patients - severe, 39 - extremely severe. 40 patients were diagnosed with a lesion of 25% of the lungs or less (CT 1), in 43 patients - more than 25 to 50% of the lung volume (CT-2), in 32 patients - more than 50 to 75% (CT-3) and in 13 patients - more than 75% (CT-4). On average, the number of background pathologies was 4.53 ± 2.20. The average number of background diseases was significantly higher in patients of the older age group (p <0.001). In patients with severe and extremely severe infections diabetes and obesity were more common (p <0.05 for both comparisons). In the group of patients with moderate severity of infection, chronic viral hepatitis was more common (p <0.05). Clinical syndromes pathogenetically associated with an autoimmune inflammatory reaction were observed in 99 patients (77.34%), cell dystrophy - in 123 patients (96.09%), coagulopathy - in 73 patients (57.03%), fibrosis - in 44 patients (34.38%). Conclusion. According to the data of retrospective analysis, the average number of background diseases was significantly higher in patients of the older age group. Diabetes and obesity were more common in patients with severe and extremely severe COVID-19. In patients with moderate severity of infection, chronic viral hepatitis was more common. The pathogenetic syndrome of an autoimmune inflammatory reaction was observed in 77.34% of patients, cell dystrophy syndromes in 96.09%, coagulopathic in 57.03% and fibrosis in 34.38% of patients.
Physical activity is defined as bodily movement, which allows any energy expenditure greater than resting levels. Regular practice generates gains in mental and physical health, so physically active people are more vigorous and willing to carry out their professional and daily activities, enhancing their interpersonal relationships. It is known that there is a low prevalence of healthy behaviors in relation to physical activity among health professionals. This is a literature review, added to a cross-sectional data collection through digital media with an anonymous form that does not require submission to the research ethics committee. The analysis of the data showed that 31.9% of the absolute population surveyed had some previous illness or was taking daily medication. Of these, 52.5% had psychiatric disorders, 20.7% respiratory diseases and 20.3% musculoskeletal diseases, which correlate directly with limiting factors for physical activity. The findings indicate that regular exercise is an ally in improving or maintaining various health indicators. For this reason, simple and inexpensive measures such as assessing the level of physical activity and monitoring these professionals reduces hospital absenteeism, increases personal performance and consequently improves the quality of the service provided to the population.
