The article focuses on the emergence and evolution of the gender phenomenon. It analyzes interpretations of relationships between men and women at different times, and stages of development. It is argued that the issue of equality between men and women is a characteristic of every stage of human society. From the earliest times to the present day, it has become natural for people to defend their rights as a criterion for survival. The demand for women to participate in the social, economic and political life of society on the basis of the principle of equality began to manifest itself in the West as a feminist movement. Waves 1 and 2 of this movement gave an international impetus to the issue of gender equality. Today, there is no area where women's participation is unnoticeable. However, there are many problems with the process of creating the necessary conditions for their participation, the level of their rights, their freedom to operate and full self-image. In this regard, the article also examines the genesis of the issue of gender equality in the system of international relations and its stages of development, its role in the international community. It highlights the importance of the United Nations and other organizations in ensuring gender equality in the system of international relations. A number of international documents have been analyzed, which are the basis for further strengthening of women's rights and their privileges in the international community.
This article discusses the importance of introducing educational programs for preschool children to master basic knowledge of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM knowledge). It is proven that teaching STEM knowledge to pre-school children gives them great potential for further development in primary and secondary school. When revealing the subject of STEM knowledge for preschoolers and the gender aspects of its successful teaching, it is concluded that, along with the preparation of such educational programs, it is necessary to develop the special knowledge of boys and girls.
The article under discussion reveals the issues of comparative and linguocultural analysis of the concept “gender” in Uzbek and English languages. The present study presents gender as a concept of linguistic culture and describes it as the basis that forms gender stereotypes on the material of phraseological units of English and Uzbek languages. The author of the article considers that gender is not a linguistic category, but its content can be revealed through the analysis of language structures, which explains the need for a linguistic study of the cultural representation of gender.
In the article, the author analyzed the global ranking of gender equality, the legal framework and the national experience of advanced foreign countries. The author notes that the leading positions of these countries in the world in terms of gender equality are associated not only with the national legal and institutional framework, but also with public life, consciousness and worldview of people. Based on this, the author notes the importance of developing proposals for the implementation of the experience of these countries by analyzing constitutions, special laws and strategies to ensure gender equality in Uzbekistan.

This article discusses gender linguistics. Gender lexemes in German and Uzbek languages were analyzed. It was discussed that the gender aspect of language is reflected in anthroponyms and vulgar words.
At the same time, most inanimate nouns are masculine or feminine. The grammatical gender of these nouns is conditional and inexplicable as regards to their meanings. The division of inanimate nouns into masculine and feminine is determined only by their formal endings and syntactical factors.
The gender of most Russian nouns can be established according to the last letter of their citation form (usually nominative singular). There are few basic rules that allow identifying the gender for the majority of Russian nouns. These rules are sufficient for those who just begin learning Russian, but it is necessary to keep in mind that they do not work for all Russian nouns and, sooner or later, a large number of deviations from these rules become evident.
This paper investigates the dynamics of gender equality and employment outcomes in Uzbekistan, examining the country's formal institutional transformations aimed at achieving constitutional mandates for equal rights. Drawing on data from national development strategies, legislative reforms, and employment statistics, the study assesses the impact of social development initiatives on women's socio-political engagement, representation, and economic empowerment. Findings reveal significant gender disparities in employment, with women facing disproportionate burdens in unpaid domestic work and experiencing higher rates of unemployment compared to men. Moreover, self-employment emerges as a critical source of household income, particularly among rural populations, highlighting the need for targeted interventions to address structural inequalities. The analysis underscores the importance of policy measures aimed at promoting gender equality in employment and enhancing access to decent work opportunities for women in Uzbekistan.

Methods of research: a method of the componcntial analysis, contextual method, statistical method and method of linguocultural analysis.
The results obtained and their novelty: 1) the complex analysis of compound words expressing appearance and character of the person; has been attempted to analyse; 2) linguoculturological and gender essence of compound words characterising appearance and character of the person have been revealed; 3) a national-cultural specificity of compound words characterising appearance and character of the person has been considered; 4) compound words has been considered linguoculturcma; 5) the role of stylistic devices and metaphoric nominations of considered compound words in the research have been studied.
Practical value: results can be used in lecture courses on Lexicology, Stylistics, Comparative Typology, Linguoculturological Studies, in writing research works, text books and manuals.

In addition, the relevance of the work lies in the examination of cross-comparisons of proverbs and sayings between non-native languages. The article aims at studying proverbs and phrases in English that describe the appearance, character, social characteristics, and position of men in society. Gender is one of the most important parameters of binary opposition and social existence.
