English for Academic Purposes (EAP) textbooks play a crucial role in preparing non-native English-speaking students for academic success in English-medium higher education. One important aspect of EAP textbooks is their authenticity, which refers to the degree to which the language and tasks in the textbooks mirror real academic language use and situations. This study conducts an evaluation of authenticity in EAP textbooks used in Iran. Through a case study approach, a selection of EAP textbooks commonly used in Iranian educational institutions is analyzed. The evaluation assesses the representation of authentic academic language, genres, and tasks, as well as the alignment with the needs and expectations of Iranian students. Findings from this evaluation provide valuable insights into the extent to which current EAP textbooks cater to the specific needs of Iranian learners and contribute to the ongoing efforts to enhance EAP pedagogy in the Iranian context.
This article is devoted to the analysis of grammatical topics in textbooks written for a specialized school of the Hindi language and a lyceum of oriental languages at the Tashkent State University. Friendly relations between Uzbekistan and India develops fruitfully and we, the Hindi language teachers, should also contribute to the development of these relations. The establishment of scientific cooperation between the two countries requires a high level of Hindi learning for our youth. Unfortunately, over the past twenty years, textbooks on the Hindi language for schoolchildren and students of lyceums have not been created. In this article, teachers of the school and lyceum were suggested to familiarize themselves with the teaching aids prepared by the author of the article, and the task was to create new textbooks under the guidance of teachers of the Hindi at University of Oriental Studies. The article describes the step-by-step study of Hindi by elementary and senior schoolchildren. The 5th grade textbook includes introductory topics in Hindi phonetics, spelling and grammar. Various exercises and pictures are offered to keep students interested in learning Hindi, and helps to increase student activity in the language learning process. Textbooks for high school students contain more detailed phonetic and grammatical sources in Hindi; various topics are given, namely geography, history, texts telling about famous Indian statesmen, about the national holidays of India, grammar tables, dictionaries of each text (or lesson), oral and written exercises, performing tests increases knowledge of the Hindi language.
This textbook presents the formation of the digital economy, its technological foundations, the formation of the digital economy in the world and in Uzbekistan, the processes of using digital technologies in higher education and statistics. In addition, national and international cyber security, electronic government, digital democracy, transition from electronic government to digital state in conditions of digital transformation, prospects of digital state in Uzbekistan and risks that may arise in digital transformation processes are described. It is recommended as a textbook for undergraduate students of higher educational institutions in our republic. It is also intended for specialists, professors, teachers, researchers, graduate students and readers interested in the field of digital economy in economic sectors.
This research presents an in-depth evaluation case study investigating the authenticity of English for Academic Purposes (EAP) textbooks used in educational contexts in Iran. The study employs a comprehensive framework to assess the extent to which these textbooks authentically reflect the language demands of academic environments. Through a mixed-methods approach, including content analysis, surveys, and interviews, the research examines the alignment between textbook content and real academic communication situations. Findings provide insights into the strengths and weaknesses of current EAP materials, shedding light on areas for potential improvement to enhance the authenticity and effectiveness of language learning resources in Iranian academic settings.
The paper aims to present the preliminary results of an ongoing study related to the teaching and learning of writing competencies, through the analysis of writing practices promoted in six Portuguese as a foreign language (PFL) textbooks for young adults. There is no systematic research about their adequacy with regard to the latest methodological guidelines or the existing curricula. Therefore, the theoretical and methodological assumptions and the organization of content and learning practices present in the textbooks are, to some extent, unknown. Although research in Didactics highlights their role in the planning of educational action by teachers and their influence on teaching and learning practice in the classroom. Preliminary results show that there are relatively few writing activities in the textbooks, and that they are mostly guided by behaviorist choices (audiolingual and audiovisual methods).
The article explores conclusions based on the study of primary school textbooks, the role of mother tongue education for uzbek classes in the effectiveness of education, the role of cognitive-pragmatic approach in mother tongue education and its contribution to expand the scope of student’s thinking and creative exercises.
Subject of the inquiry: the problem of a computerization of teaching the Bases of informatics and computer engineering techniques (BICET) in the system of secondary education.
Aim of the inquiry: to create effective means of pedagogical programmes (PPM) on BICET, aimed at computerization of teaching and to work out the methods of using it.
Methods of inquiry: studying and analysing the literature on the topic of the investigation; observing the teaching process; talks with teachers and schoolchildren; generalizing school teacher’s experience; internet forum; pedagogical experiment.
Novelty and theoretical importance of research: the concept of computer education of secondary education was worked out; the structure of process of computerizing teaching was analysed; the principles of computer education were worked out and means of computer education of teaching were systematized the ways of modelling the teacher’s and schoolchildem’s activities in the PPM, the process of accomplishing all types of exercises with the help of computer; the mechanism of working out the PPM of the BICET.
Practical value: PPM worked out by us were effectively used in BICET; the concept, principles and means of computer education of teaching may be used while computerization of other subjects, improving teachers’ training, compiling textbooks and educational supplies of computerization; the ideas in the thesis may serve as a theoretical basis to computerize all stages of education.
Degree of embed and economical effectivity: 80 works of the author concerning the theme of the dissertation were published, including monograph, textbooks and teaching supplies; the content of the investigation was discussed at a number of conferences.

Purpose. This article describes the formation of a hybrid form of an electronic textbook in legal education, the essence of online education, theoretical and practical foundations for the correct use of available sources of information for electronic textbooks.
Methodology. The article uses methods of source analysis, pedagogical experiment and comparative analysis to determine the advantages of an electronic textbook integrating search engines and open access sites.
Results. The problems of using electronic textbooks in legal education are analyzed. Studies, scientific works, experiments of foreign scientists have been studied and analyzed, and proposals for implementation in Uzbekistan are given. The existing systems are recommended for the implementation of the virtual environment in the management system of the legal education process.
Conclusion. From these results it is clear that with the help of these systems, students can achieve such qualities as the formation and development of research, information and professional competence.
This article focuses on the perception of undergraduate students and undergraduates, as well as teachers on the effectiveness of the initial-level Turkish text-book "HİTİT" and the English textbook "Along and across." This research concludes with recommendations based on the preferences of teachers and students,
which can be useful for textbook authors, educational researchers in getting a practical and correct understanding of the nature of existing textbooks. The study also sheds light on the need to adapt materials.

In general, the publication "Meyor ul-ahlak" was intended to simply and clearly highlight the topic of morality in the upbringing of Muslim children in the educational institutions of Turkestan. At a time when traditional textbooks on morality, created in the Middle Ages in local and large-scale Russian-speaking schools, were excluded from the curricula, the ideas put forward in them, as well as the Islamic tradition, there was among people a great needed for morality textbooks revised by local enlighteners in accordance with the requirements of the time.
This monograph is devoted to the study of linguistic features of dialogic rhetoric in English and Uzbek languages. It can be used for conducting lectures and seminars on "Basics of speech culture", "Translation studies", "Foreign language (English)", writing master's dissertations and graduate theses, preparing textbooks and textbooks. Also, in the monograph, in the form of an appendix, a glossary of the most active topics in dialogic rhetoric in three languages is presented, from which English and Russian language learners can get practical recommendations for effective glossing in expressive speech.
At the time being, special attention is paid to teaching students a creative thinking in technical science in general secondary schools.
