Ular oqsilning tuzilishini belgilab beradigan informatsion ribonuklein kislotasining hosil boʻlishini kuchaytirib, oqsillar biosinteziga taʼsir etadi. Shunday xususiyatga ega somatotropin gormoni (STG)-191 ta aminokislotadan tashkil topgan peptid tabiatli gormon bo'lib, gipofizning oldingi bo'lagidan sekretsiya bo'ladi. Bu gormon yetishmasligi gipofizar past bo'ylikka olib keladi. Yаqin kelаjаkdа rekоmbinаnt somatotropingа bо’lgаn tаlаb оshish ehtimoli mavjud.
