Principles of expressing the artistic landscape of the world through plant imagery
It is well known that the genesis of floristic imagery in artistic creation dates back to ancient times. In modern Uzbek poetry, the tradition of engaging with the world of flora and depicting the landscapes of new life through these images has continued. Images of plants, trees, and flowers, beyond their literal meanings, have served as symbols to express various cultural values. Through them, aspects of people's lives, character traits, dreams, thoughts, emotions, and the state of society are conveyed. Consequently, this symbolic process manifests in diverse forms across different artists. This article examines the poetics of expressing the artistic landscape of the world through plant imagery. Comparative-historical, comparative-typological, linguistic, and analytical methods of analysis were applied to explore the artistic and poetic roles of plant imagery in contemporary Uzbek poetry. The study highlights the artistic significance of plant images actively used in modern Uzbek poetry. Through examples from the works of several poets, attention is drawn to the symbolic content they express. Additionally, it is noted that the understanding of the floristic world has evolved, with plant imagery now being actively incorporated into its artistic representation
