SUMMARY.The article provides an overview of the incidence of fungal infections as opportunistic diseases in HIV / AIDS. One of the important factors in the growth of fungal infection and the aggravation of the course of diseases caused by it is secondary immunodeficiency caused by HIV, the resistance of the skin layer and the effect of fungal infection on the immune system. Therefore, studying fungal infections in patients with HIV / AIDS, in particular identifying the types of fungi that cause fungal infections and determining their sensitivity to antifungal drugs, can significantly reduce the mortality of these patients from generalized fungal infection.
