  • The complex model of filter for extracorporeal removal systems consists of derived cotton cellulose and polypropylene. This new model of filter has good barrier possibility (binding of the particles of the absorbent) and additional detoxicant properties. This additional characteristics of the complex model of filter (CMF) includes reduction of the level in blood plasma some of toxic substations such as bilirubin - on 22% (p<0,05); the average molecules of the plasma - on 25,4% (p<0,05); the factor of the necrosis to tumors alpha - on 18,5% (p<0,05) from basic level before filtration. There were no reliable changes of the glucose, total protein, albumin, electrolytes concentrations in plasma after filtering through CMF. Premises and basis for realization of the additional detoxification characteristic of the CMF include its biological compatibility and high soiption possibility of derived cellulose. Polypropylene can perfects the barrier properties of CMF. The combination of derived cellulose with polypropylene in complex model of filter -CMF can be offered for the further tests as filter for extracorporeal removal systems.

  • Patients with diabetes mellitus, often, there are changes in the vessels in the form of calcification of the middle shell of arteries and arterioles (arteriolosclerosis of Menkeberg, mediacalcinosis). The determination of the x-ray stage of calcification of the arteries, gives additional information on the state of the vessels of the foot. Destructive changes in blood vessels, soft tissues and bones, conducted surgical interventions are naturally related. The study of these patterns is possible with a timely, critical study of anamnestic, diagnostic data and therapeutic measures. In this regard, to date remain relevant issues related to the development of differentiated treatment, taking into account all possible diagnostic data and improving surgical methods for treating the diabetic foot syndrome.

  • Hepatic encephalopathy is a common complication of liver dysfunction, including acute liver failure and liver cirrhosis. Hepatic encephalopathy presents as a spectrum of neuropsychiatric symptoms ranging from subtle fluctuating cognitive impairment to coma. It is a significant contributor of morbidity in patients with liver disease. Hepatic encephalopathy is observed in acute liver failure, liver bypass procedures, for example, shunt surgery and transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt, and cirrhosis. These are classified as Type A, В and C hepatic encephalopathy, respectively. Hepatic encephalopathy can also be classified according to whether its presence is overt or covert. The pathogenesis is linked with ammonia and glutamine production, and treatment is based on mechanisms to reduce the formation and/or removal of these compounds. There is no specific diagnostic test for hepatic encephalopathy, and diagnosis is based on clinical suspicion, excluding other causes and use of clinical tests that may support its diagnosis. Many tests arc used in trials and experimentally, but have not yet gained universal acceptance. This review focuses on the definitions, pathogenesis and treatment of hepatic encephalopathy.

  • The close relationship of physical health and neuroendocrine status of women, structural and functional usefulness of the uterus, placenta, and fetal development in accordance with the course of gestation cause difficulties in determining the root cause of preterm labor. We can assume that at some point the threat of premature birth in the system of mother-fetus develop processes of a pathophysiological entity which can be judged on the basis of research on the state of the autonomic nervous system of the mother and fetus. Such opportunities are incorporated in the method of functional diagnostics - cardiointervalography (K.I.G).

  • The influence of melatonin on the functional state of the hepatobiliary system with dexamethasone-induced diabetes mellitus was studied. The analysis of numerous research studies made it possible to talk about the high prevalence of complications in diabetes as a disease of the liver, the principal organ of metabolic processes in the body. It was established during the experiment that diabetes reduced the intensity of bile, the number of total bilirubin in it, mainly due to its conjugated forms, cholates and cholesterol, which disturbed the relationship between the components of the bile. The injection of melatonin at a dose of 10 mg / kg intraperitoneally during 10 days lead to an increase in the intensity of bile secretion, increase the concentration of bilirubin in it, both general and conjugate fractions, cholates and cholesterol, improved the processes of conjugation, normalized cholate – cholesterol coefficient.
