Based on data reflecting the share of the tourism industry in the world economy, as well as its accelerated development in recent years, this article substantiates the important role and relevance of this industry in the development of the economy of Uzbekistan. Along with this, an analysis is made of the current state and development trends of the tourism industry in the countries of the Near and Middle East, and its place, role and priority importance in national economies are disclosed. Factors are shown which influence positively or negatively on the development of this industry in Turkey, which is among the leading countries of the world and is considered a leader among the countries of the region and other non-Arab countries, like Iran and Israel. In the article, economic indicators, such as statistics on the number of tourists arriving in the country, tourism income and shares in GDP, reflecting the state of international tourism are given in table form. These data on the development of tourism in the countries of the Near and Middle East are compared with the indicators of the leading countries of the industry in the world. The paramount importance of peace and tranquility, social and political stability in the country is especially noted. Also, the importance of tourism development in Uzbekistan and its forecasts for the near future are outlined.

implemented by Malaysia, Spain and the United States for the sustainable development of tourism. As a result of the analysis, a 5-step model of transformation into a competitive tourist region was developed.
В статье рассмотрены концепция цифровой трансформации туристической отрасли и основные компоненты смарт туризма такие как: умный бизнес, умные туристические направления и умный опыт. На основе анализа международного опыта обосновывается необходимость развития «умного» туризма в регионах и внедрения цифровых технологий в сектор туризма. Автором выдвинуты рекомендации по цифровой трансформации туристической отрасли.
In the entry, effectiveness and advantages of modern ICT and Internet application in Tourism have been researched. The proportion of ICT and Internet in generation of tourism products has been identified through econometric approach. Based on the research ICT is responsible 30 – 45% of Tourism network development. ICT allows potential visitors to access necessary information and gather data. During the course of the research, positive correlation between the increase in Tourism network and the investment in ICT and conversely the opposite has been found between that and the number of hotels. Therefore, it clearly shows that the tourist
accommodation pitfalls are the major obstacles in the network development. The elasticity coefficient per capita of the GDP of the field is 0,794, in workforce 0,113. It matches the results of the researches that have been conducted throughout the world. As a result of applying ICT in the network, companies’ transaction expenses are reduced, innovations occur more, becomes competitive and its financial effectiveness increases. In turn, future visitors can obtain more information about the tourism opportunities of our country.
The article discusses the specifics of the socio-economic model of India and current trends in its development, analysis and regulation of foreign trade, the importance of increasing export potential in modernizing the economy, optimizing the import structure, and attracting foreign investment and foreign investment policy. India offers millions of travelers the opportunity to relax by the sea and mountains, tourism and architectural monuments, unforgettable vacations, festivals and carnivals, spiritual uplift and deep immersion in the culture, customs and spiritual heritage of the country. It was revealed that India is an important destination in the Asian region with unique natural, recreational, cultural and historical resources for the development of tourism. In addition, the stages and directions of development of the tourism industry in India, as well as the existing free economic zones are considered as an important form of foreign economic activity of the country. At the end of the article, opinions and comments on the topic are given and a clear conclusion is made.
