In recent years the emphasis placed on the importance of communication in foreign language education has caused a lack of literary texts to be used in Japanese textbooks. Why has this emphasis on the communication aspect of foreign language education caused the usage of literary texts to be pushed aside? On March, 2010 the Japan Foundation proposed that the Japanese foreign language education standard should emphasize cultivating the student's communication skills as that would act as a tool to show the results of the way Japanese was taught, learned, and studied. The purpose of this paper is to go over what exactly it is that Japanese Language Education is seeking and whether or not communication skills should be reconsidered. The meaning of literary texts and their possibilities in language education as well as the position of literary texts and their usefulness in language education will also be covered. -
The research thoroughly investigates the structure of negative composite sentences in Japanese and their usage as a natural language. Firstly, research works on the usage of negative composite sentences in Japanese and comparative analysis of negative composite sentences in Japanese and English languages were learnt and analyzed. Secondly, the impact of transitive {cause} ＜スル＞and intransitive {become}＜ナル＞ sentences and the speaker’s expression of whether an action has been completed as he/she wished on the usage of negative composite sentences was investigated. It was identified that in negative composite sentences, such as “紙を切ったけれど、 切れなかった( I cut the rope, but it didn’t cut)”, the first part of the sentence shows the speaker’s wish and intention regarding an action while the second part negates the result of the action. -

The article presents a description of the “Divani Djalili” manuscript which is kept in the holdings of the Center of Oriental Manuscripts under the TashSIOS. Specimens of Djalili verses are introduced into scientific use for the first time. The author gives us an interesting information about biography of Nizam al-Mulk – chief vizier of Saljuk rulers Alparslan (1063–1072) and his son Malikshakh (1072–1092).

Marriage Documents of Central Asia: Text, Content and Formal Structure (Based on Kazi Documents of the 16th – Early 20th Centuries)In this article explores issues related to family relations in Central Asia based on kazi (law) documents. One of the main tasks of the paper is aimed at the disclosure of a formal structure, composition of kazi (law) documents. In addition, special attention is paid to issues such as ‘mahr, talaq, nafaqa’ that were part of the institution of marriage. Documents are shown separately highlighting their contents.

In this article the question of the origin and development of urban civilization in the Tashkent oasis on the basis of archaeological and written sources. The article, which refers to the ancient history of the oasis "Chach", analyzed information that the urbanization of the territory of Tashkent started in ancient times that the city oasis "Chach" sanctified in Greek, Chinese and Arab sources. The article also provides information about the historical topography of the city, the ethnic composition of the region, agriculture and address of the first farmers. Overall, the findings indicate a high level of urban civilization in the 'Chach' in the early Middle Ages, as well as throughout Central Asia. -
This article is about bilingual stele written in Chinese and Turkic, which was first discovered in China’s Sian city. This ancient monument gives information about friendly exchanges between Tan Dynasty and Turkic people, also about political process of that period. -
