Nowadays, the ability to communicate in a foreign language has particular importance with the development of international cooperation. The success of communication (as the essence of communicative competence) depends not only on the speaker’s desire to make contact, but also on the ability to realize the speech intention, which depends on the degree of proficiency in language units, and the ability to use them in specific speech situations. Therefore, it is necessary to analyse what is communicative competence.
The aim of this article is to highlight the advantages of the use of the individual approach in teaching a foreign language to students of non-linguistic specialties, to draw the examples, directions, according to which this approach is used in the learning process is implemented.
The approach of "Communication Language Teaching," which focuses on increasing language learners' communicative abilities, is discussed in this article. CLT approach which is well known among foreign language teachers as a practical teaching approach to create the context of authentic language use in the classroom. The research is aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of our effort to change traditional teaching practice. Furthermore, it discusses the challenges of putting the most successful strategies into practice. A number of suggestions have been included to apply the most advanced methods of interaction into the teaching process.
This article is devoted to the study of the peculiarities of the translation of specific military vocabulary from English into the native language. The quality and accuracy of military translation is determined primarily by the quality of translation of military terminology and abbreviations. The research consists in the need to translate the continuously updated terminological vocabulary of the military vocabulary, linguistic research in the field of which, in our opinion, is not enough.
This scientific article endeavors to delve into and draw comparisons between the linguistic and cultural elements of advertising texts in both Uzbek and English languages. This study thoroughly examines and analyzes diverse linguistic and cultural characteristics embedded within advertisements, with a particular emphasis on their influence on target audiences within distinct cultural contexts. Through meticulous examination and interpretation, this research sheds light on the intricate interplay between language, culture, and advertising strategies, ultimately offering valuable insights for enhancing cross-cultural advertising communication. By employing a systematic research approach, the study explores the multifaceted dimensions of advertising language in both Uzbek and English. It investigates how language choices, rhetorical devices, and persuasive techniques are adapted and employed differently across these two languages to effectively convey messages to their respective audiences. Additionally, the research delves into the cultural aspects manifested within these advertisements, such as values, symbols, and societal norms, which greatly impact the effectiveness and reception of the advertisements within their target cultures.
This article examines the main directions in the study of media
language (linguistic, rhetorical, hermeneutic, psycholinguistic, linguopragmatic,
sociological, legal and cultural aspects). Particular attention is paid to semiotic and
cognitive-discursive approaches to the analysis of mass communication texts. Active
innovation processes in the sphere of convergence of various discourses into
communicative and discursive practices of the mass media, the problem of translating
media texts, as well as texts of political discourse are considered.

выявление цифровой компетентности педагогов в Казахстане В статье использован компетентностый подход, метод проблемной подачи материала, анализ литературных источников, анкетирование с помощью
программы Google Forms. В исследованиях цифровых компетенций педагогов можно выделить ряд научных подходов. В работе дан научный подход к вопросу оценки цифровой компетентности. В статье рассматривается вопрос определения роли цифровой компетентности в процессе цифровой трансформации образования в Казахстане, освещена проблема формирования цифровых компетенций будущего педагога.
Отмечено, что цифровая компетентность играет значительную роль в профессиональной компетентности педагога и развитии его профессионально-педагогической культуры. В исследовании было выделено 4 вида цифровой компетентности педагогов, которые реализовывается в различных видах деятельности в информационной среде: информационная и медиакомпетентность, коммуникативная компетентность, техническая компетентность, потребительская компетентность. Сделаны выводы о необходимости преодоления разрыва между уровнем цифровых компетенций необходимым для цифровой трансформации образования, путем развития цифровых компетенций педагогов, привлекая для этого новые технологии обучения.
In order to establish the essential conditions for the implementation of young people's abilities as a professional, mature expert, interpersonal contact is crucial in the process of developing young people in the educational process. This inevitably calls for a communicative strategy designed to structure language learning in a useful way. Our primary research objective was to investigate and evaluate the role that reading literary works in English plays in helping college students enhance their sociocultural competency. The following topics make up the tasks of our research: 1) theoretical examination of the significance of English fiction in the development of students' sociocultural competency; 2) justification of the function and significance of socio-cultural discourse analysis; 3) analysis of the effectiveness of using English fiction in the development of socio-cultural competence; 4) The parables were outlined to improve the approach for the socio-cultural competence of students to be developed by reading English fiction.
