  • In this article, the clinical and laboratory aspects of the course of pneumococcal meningitis (PM) in the Samarkand region over the past 10 years have been studied. Studies have shown that pneumococcal meningitis most often affects children under one year old (30%); in the clinical picture of the same intensity, general in-fectious, cerebral and meningeal symptoms are detected. The main percentage of cases of the disease is associ-ated with the primary lesion (70.3%). A high percentage of mortality and the formation of complications. Re-sidual effects are presented: asthenoneurotic syndrome (71%), sensorineural hearing loss (9%), cardiopathy (6%), arthritis (6%), hydrocephalus (5.5%), ataxic syndrome (2%), lesion of the cranial nerve (3.7%). The im-munochromatographic test for the presence of pneumococcal soluble antigen in the cerebrospinal fluid (Binax NOW - Streptococcus pneumoniae Test) used in our studies is a more rapid method for diagnosing pneumococ-cal meningitis.

  • We examined 52 patients under the age of one year who Were hospitalized in the children’s Department 1 of SamMI in Samarkand in 2018 - 2019; 19 of them were under the age of 6 months; 29 boys and 23 girls. Staphylococci were isolated in 43 children, the control group consisted of 9 patients in whom staphylococci were not detected. A total of 215 strains of staphylococci were isolated from children's feces. And sensitivity to antibiotics (penicillin, streptomycin, gentamicin, levomycetin, tetracycline, cephalosporins, and erythromycin) was studied. Staphylococci are quite often and in large quantities sown from the feces of children with dyspeptic disorders. Staphylococci are characterized by the presence of pathogenicity enzymes and toxigenic properties. Dedicated staphylococci were sensitive to gentamycin and Cefotaxime.

  • In most cases, sepsis is caused by gram-positive flora. However, in patients without hematogenous dissemination, gram-negative microorganisms were microbiologically confirmed. Diagnosis of sepsis is a very difficult question. About 30% of sepsis cases remain without bacteriological confirmation. About 40-45% of sepsis cases are caused by staphylococci. However. 80% of cases of surgical infection is combined with an anaerobic infection. Surgical treatment of sepsis is considered to be the most relevant. Especially sepsis due to inflammatory diseases of soft tissues, treatment should begin with an urgent surgical intervention.

  • The aim was to give a comparative description of the landscape of pathogens sown in patients of differ-ent ages with osteomyelitis. It was found that the leading microorganisms in children as monoculture were S. aureus and P. aeruginosa, and in adults this sequence was somewhat different: S. aureus, S.epidermidis, E. coli, P. aeruginosa. In children, S. aureus and S. epidermidis were the leading associations, and in adults E. coli and P. aeruginosa. Identified 7 differences related to sowing pathogens depending on age and microbio-logical prognostic criteria are important for the formation and prognosis of the disease

  • The problem of brucellosis remains relevant in the Healthcare system in Uzbekistan. The reason for this is not a reduction in the incidence of brucellosis in some regions in the Republic of Uzbekistan. In the Nurabad district of the Samarkad region, there is a relatively large number of cases of brucellosis, which gave us the impetus to do this work. An in-depth analysis of the epidemiological aspects of brucellosis in patients recovered from 2015-2017 in the district hospital of the Nurabad district of the Samarkand region was carried out. In the Nurabad region, the incidence of brucellosis is mainly observed in people engaged in cattle breeding. It should also be noted that specific preventive maintenance is lame in the Nurabad district. This, in turn, increases the indicator of the number of patients with brucellosis in relation to other diseases

  • Eulminant gangrene of genital organs (Fournier's disease, necrotizing fasciitis, fulminant gangrene of the scrotum, etc.) - acute necrotizing infection affecting the subcutaneous fatty tissue of the external genital organs and the perianal region of men; much less affects the genitals of women. The authors note the importance of an integrated approach to the treatment of Fournier's gangrene, which includes antibacterial, detoxication therapy, correction of disorders of homeostasis and metabolism, disturbances in functioning of organs and systems. Surgical treatment should be carried out without delay, in compliance with the principles of "aggressive surgery", i.e. should be as radical as possible with excision of subcutaneous fat. drainage of fascial spaces.

  • Recently, the number one problem has been the progressive growth of HIV-infected drug addicts. [6]. Patients with HIV infection are a socially vulnerable group. The lack of a specialty, permanent work and work experience significantly reduce their income, limit the social security of sick leave, disability benefits, hinder health insurance and drug provision [1]. Considering that the infection caused by HIV introduces a number of psycho-traumatic factors into the lives of those infected: disruption or termination of interpersonal and social relationships, changes in relationships in the family and in sexual life, it can be assumed that HIV-infected patients have such psycho-emotions. -nal reactions, such as: apathy, feeling of helplessness, self-doubt, depression, depression, resentment, a tendency to tearfulness [7].

  • The effectiveness of local treatment in inflammatory processes can be significantly improved through the use of scientifically grounded multi-component compositions, taking into account the etiology, pathogenesis, and the difference in the course of the process, where each component directly affects one or another inflammatory factor. Such a drug is FarGALS. Under our supervision were 62 HIV-infected children aged 6 to 16 years who were treated in the children's ENT clinic for acute purulent sinusitis. The use of FarGALS solution in complex treatment and rehabilitation of ENT-organs in HIV-infected children improves the hygienic index by 43%, reduces, up to complete reduction, inflammatory phenomena, enhances the nonspecific protective functions of the mucous membranes of the ENT organs and it is a pronounced positive effect on mucociliary transport of the mucous membrane of the nasal cavity and sinuses.
