The implementation of English language policies in modern society varies across different regions, countries, and institutions. English is widely recognized as a global language and is often used as a medium of communication in various domains, including business, education, science, technology, and international diplomacy. Many countries have adopted English as a medium of instruction in schools and universities. English language proficiency may be a requirement for admission to certain educational programs or for obtaining academic qualifications. This article is about the English language policy implementation in modern Uzbekistan.
The policy of the reforming of the medical sphere of education in Uzbekistan has a huge impact on teaching of the foreign language as a discipline within the general humanitarian sciences. English language teaching is gradually beginning to fade into the background, which in the nearest future threatens to "drop out" from the register of disciplines of medical universities. Foreign language, in particular, English as a general education subject, is almost lowered to the last place. The weak methodological base of the discipline "Medical English", which has replaced "general English" in the direction of ESP in recent years, as well as the modernization of professional medical education in general, creates a number of problems in the process of English language teaching. One of the most relevant areas of higher medical education has become the process of teaching special subjects in English, which also raises a number of urgent issues to address. The possibilities of improving the mechanism of learning a foreign language and effective measures for organizing activities in this direction determines the superiority for the medical higher educational institutions. In this regard, the establishment of a special specific environment for teachers of English in modern non-linguistic universities on the basis of profile and professional orientation, taking into account modern methods of teaching a foreign language, is an important factor in achieving high results in this direction.
The purpose of this study is to consider issues related to the teaching of English for medical purposes in modern higher education. As you know, English is an integral part of a successful professional career in medicine. In addition, various international projects in the field of medicine are becoming more widespread, participation in which is also an important part of professional development for medical workers. In this article, the authors substantiates the importance of reviewing certain aspects of teaching English to medical students and offer their concept of an English course for medical purposes.

The training of medical specialists with English language knowledge in higher education of Uzbekistan requires the implementation of a number of tasks, such as improving the methods
of learning the language and effective measures for organizing activities in this direction. It is important for medical students to master language skills in the field of their profession. In connection with the reduction of fundamental subjects at medical universities in Uzbekistan, teaching methods of teaching foreign languages should be reviewed, especially in recent years, as the modernization of higher medical education creates the problem of a sharp reduction in
humanities, including foreign languages. For significantly shortened hours, it is necessary to introduce effective teaching methods of English for medical students. There is a need to create integrative models of language teaching in the medical profession (ESP). This study shows that creating a special professional environment for
language learning has its advantages while teaching English as a discipline. The methodology of integration into the specialty and the relationship between the subjects allows students to learn the educational material in the most convenient and interesting way for them.
The main purpose of this training manual is to develop the ability of law enforcement officers to communicate and exchange ideas in English based on the basic knowledge and skills of English phonetics and grammar. At present time due to COVID-19 pandemic the most part of Uzbekistan high schools started distance form of teaching, in particularly a foreign language (mostly English) in the first courses with great using of self-study principles. The article is
focused on the first experience of the distance learning based on self-study principles discipline "Medical English" of the 1st course students of Pediatrics faculty in the Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute under the quarantine conditions due to COVID-19 pandemic. The aim of the present study is to check the assumption that in teaching the Medical English language, in particular in distance learning conditions, such pedagogical strategies as tests and situation tasks contribute to learner self-study skills development and help work out techniques for assessing learner self-study. In this context, the article foregrounds self-study as a part of distance learning and highlights the importance of developing self-study skills via innovative pedagogical technologies . This is followed by an experimental study. The findings of this study can be used as a reference when reflecting on teaching practices that develop learner self-study skills. Finally, the authors conclude with pedagogical methods relevant for teaching self-study skills

motivational environment while the teaching of English language for medical students as well as the improvement of modern methods and skills and their effective use. Besides, the influence of motivation on the successful acquisition of English, the impact of the most frequent motivational moments on medical students are analyzed. Some effective methods are proposed to create favorable conditions for students to learn the language, achieve effective results, and self-government in this regard. The development of motivational forms aimed at improving knowledge and skills of English in the training of personnel for the medical field is interpreted as much as possible in the organization of study strategies and effective curricula.

Animals play an important role in the daily life of people, and some characteristics of humans can be observed in animals. The article discusses the importance of the components of English and Uzbek zoonyms in reflecting the national, cultural and spiritual characteristics of both nations and peoples. The individual and universal nouns created on the example of zoonim and the common aspects of the English and Uzbek peoples are defined.
The improvement of the English language knowledge of the students of medical institutions of higher education in English is one of the main priorities of modern educational policy.
This process this creates a need for medical personnel who have mastered foreign languages. A comprehensive training of competitive specialists for the medical sphere, corresponding to the requirements of international standards, puts new requirements and tasks before the teachers of English language. These are the main factors that determine the effectiveness of using new methods and new standards.
This article deals with the specifics of military terminology (on the material of Uzbek and English languages). The relevance of the chosen topic is determined by a number of factors, including: the need for a deeper study of wordformation and structural features of military terminology; the importance of terminology research within the framework of comparative analysis, which allows us to consider terminology as an ordered system; as well as inadequate scientific elaboration of issues, etc. The purpose of the article is a comparative analysis of military terminology in English and Uzbek, which allows not only to compare Uzbek-speaking and English-speaking military terms, but also to highlight their specific features. Based on the analysis carried out by the author, it is noted that the main characteristic of military terms in English and Uzbek, among other terminological properties, is a special sphere of functioning, which is determined by a number of signs that allow one or another word or phrase to be classified as military terminology.

Nowadays the actual question of teaching is what should be the lesson of a foreign language in modern conditions. The aims and content of education are changing, new means and technologies of education appear, but whatever reforms are implemented, the lesson remains the eternal and main form of education. This thesis mainly discusses the effectiveness of modern approaches as well as methods in educating English language thoroughly. Moreover, this thesis illustrates how to use new innovative technologies in teaching English. The author’s purpose is to show the significant role of some up-to-date methods in teaching English intensively.
