The present articlcis devoted to one of the important problems of methodology of teaching English language, the role of motivation in teaching writing. We tried to reveal the role of motivation as one of the ways of developing writing skills.David Myers [1, 297] defines motivation as “a need or desire that serves to energize behaviour and to direct it towards a goal.” Frank Hawkins [2, 132-133] defines it as “what drives or induces a person to behave in a particular fashion the internal force which initiates, directs, sustains and terminates all important activities. It influences the level of performance, the efficiency achieved and the time spent on an activity.” All of the definitions refer to stimuli that trigger the motivational process.

This study delves into the methods which are modern and more innovative for teaching English as a foreign language (EFL), and aims to explain enthusiastic strategies for teaching English. This research was conducted by following the stages of library research. It examines mostly the integration of artificial intelligence (Al) , task-based learning, assignments for students and gemification in language instruction. The article highlights how these kind of strategies enhance student engagement, motivation and language retention. In addition, the implementation of innovative strategies aims to prepare students to master the skills needed in the digital and global era. Innovative and modern learning strategies are proven to provide various benefits in the language learning process. Moreover, the research discusses challenges such as teacher training, technological accessibility and curriculum adaptation which are faced by teachers and students while learning process. The findings suggest a lot of useful approaches, such as combining traditional and innovative methods that can significantly improve language fluency in EFL learners.

Особое внимание уделяется методам и подходам, направленным на развитие речевых навыков детей с помощью различных лексических и грамматических упражнений, а также творческих игр. Interest in reading arises when the reader has mastered conscious reading and developed educational and cognitive motives for reading. An essential condition for mastering reading activity is also the knowledge of reading methods, methods of semantic processing of the text, and the acquisition of certain skills and abilities that should not develop spontaneously. I believe that one of the ways to improve reading quality in elementary school is targeted management of reading instruction.

This article was devoted to describing the application of the Mobile Learning and Project-Based Learning (PBL) as a technique of using innovative technologies through group work in teaching speaking especially for EFL in Uzbek classes. Several proverbs written by English writers, including IV. Shakespeare, G. Chaucer, J. Mil ton, and A. Pope, will be examined in detail. In addition to this, some appropriate examples of Karakalpak folk proverbs will be presented and investigated deeply in order to provide the understandable meanings of them.

This study examines the ethnolinguistic features of lexical units related to the names of headgear found in Uzbek proverbs. The study confirms the strong connection of these lexical units with the lifestyle, historical and cultural memory, and national thinking of the people. During the analysis, the metaphorical and symbolic meanings of proverbs are revealed semantically and functionally. In addition, the significance of the names of headgear in the socio-cultural context and their participation in oral tradition are determined. The origin of the views on headgear reflected in proverbs is studied on the basis of various historical sources, anthropological studies, and folklore materials. The results of the study provide new theoretical perspectives for Uzbek linguistics and ethnolinguistics.

Unda til о ‘rganishning innovatsion usullari (masalan, sun 'iy intellektga asoslangan dasturlar, interfaol platformalar, virtual va to ‘Idirilgan reallik texnologiyalari) hamda O'zbekistonda til ta’limini rivojlantirishda qo'llaniladigan zamonaviy yondashuvlar tahlil qilingan. Asarda tilshunoslikning amaliy maqsadlari (masalan, nutqni avtomatik tahlil qilish, til o'qitish metodikasini takomillashtirish) va ularning ta’lim samaradorligini oshirishdagi ahamiyati haqida ham so ‘z boradi.

Social media has had a significant impact on modern communication, leading to a significant simplification of language. Platforms such as Twitter, Instagram, Facehook and TikTok encourage abbreviations, resulting in the widespread use of abbreviations, acronyms, emoticons and informal expressions. This change affects vocabulary, grammar and writing styles, especially among younger generations. This study examines the reasons for the simplification of language, such as character limits, rapid interactions and increased use of visual communication. It also examines the impact on formal writing, academic language and linguistic diversity. Although social media makes communication more accessible and effective, there are concerns about the decline of complex language structures and formal writing skills. The article discusses the benefits and challenges of this linguistic shift, analyzing whether it is a temporary trend or represents a long-term change in language evolution.
